Christmas is coming to Grantchester Village Hall.

Visit us on Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 November.

We open at 10am until 4pm each day.

There are 15 exhibitors – come and meet new and previous designer makers.

The kettle will be on and cakes ready .



GRANTCHESTER ARTS & CRAFTS CHRISTMAS SHOW 2024

Grantchester Christmas Show heralds the start of Christmas with lots to buy for a good Christmas. Fourteen designer makers under one roof give ample opportunity for buying gifts.

Welcome to new comers Cambridgeshire basket maker Nadine Anderson and her wide variety of woven gifts, Karen Bennett painter, and welcome back Greengage and Riley with their illustrations and Christmas decorations, and Barbara Maher painting prints and cards.

Returning are Blue Shed Designs – glass, Roxanna du Rond – illustrations, East Anglian Soaps , Andy McKenzie print maker – textiles, prints & ceramics, Tricia Taylor – jeweller and silversmith, Daniela Stief – ceramics, Sue Smith – illustrator, Janet Powell – contemporary jeweller. Lizzy McCaughan – textiles.

Naina Babbar will be back with her home made Indian snacks – delicious to eat straight away, save for later or freeze for another day. Come early – she’s only with us on Saturday.

Refreshments and home made cakes will be served so come and relax in a festive atmosphere and chat to our exhibitors.

Shall holders take cash or card but refreshments is cash only donations.

Cambridge Open Studios

This year is the 50th year of Cambridge Open Studios so come and visit artist’ studios and venues to celebrate this amazing mile stone. A wide variety of skills and work are on display over the county. Several of our exhibitors are taking part so come and reunite with us. Those taking part include Tricia Taylor – jewellery, silversmithing & enamel, Daniela Stieff – ceramics, and more. Pick up a brochure or download the app and look out for the yellow flags.

A Big Thank you

Thank you to everyone who came to Grantchester to make the show such a success. The village hall was bustling with shoppers all weekend and the homemade cakes were popular too. Added to that, we have had a great write up and photographs in the Cambridge Independent newspaper too.

Not Long To Go

We’re all getting ready for the weekend. Cakes will be baked for the refreshments and our work packed up. We welcome new comers to the show – Roxana de Rond, Jenny Merrngton, Natalie Brindle & Karen Dixon, – home made soaps, illustrations, gifts and more.

A week today we will be opening the doors to our Christmas Show 2023. We welcome new comers Jenny Merrington with her eye catching lino prints, Natalie Brindle will be bringing her hand made soaps, shampoos and soaps on a rope, Karen Dixon, Little Tinker Gifts and Roxane de Rond, artist and illustrator. come and meet these talented designer makers and buy something original as a gift for yourself or a loved one.

Grantchester Xmas Art & Craft Show

Christmas is coming and so is the Grantchester Christmas Art & Craft Show on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 November 2023 from 10am to 5pm. We will be at Grantchester Village Hall, High street, Grantchester, Cambridgeshire – admission is free. Our local designer makers have a variety of gifts for you to buy for friends and family. Relax over coffee, tea, non alcoholic mulled wine. and homemade cakes.
